Easter

We just celebrated Easter a few weeks ago. Easter is when we eat Easter eggs, mmmm... we know that Easter is celebrated for two reasons. The first is when Lord Christ went to heaven and the second is to celebrate the start of spring. "We need not worry about the crops", said a farmer in the early times.

Birds used to stay on the trees as they lay eggs so the people made easter eggs. They also made Easter rabbits as the rabbits would come out in spring. This is the real Easter. But Jesus Christ went to heaven on the same day so people worship Lord Christ on the same day.

A birthday party

A birthday party is when a friend invites his/her friends to his/her party. They have meeting before to decide who is called to the party. On the 14th of April it was my friend R.B's birthday in the Bowling Co. I was so excited ! I went shopping the day before for his present. In his birthday party, we bowled and ate a lot. We also went for video games next door.

From all this we learnt that a birthday is not always for fun. They are also reunions of old and new friends.

If I were a dog

If I were a dog, I would be called a "Man's best friend". I would have eaten titbits of meat from my owner's plate and drink water from the tap. I wouldn't sleep on the road but in a warm cosy bed. I I would get to stroll out on week days and week ends. And when I get to know that there is food coming, I would wag my tail. All this only if I were a pet dog.
