My incredible week continues

Thursday...

I reached school today and found a giant standing at the front door. He was about 7 feet tall. "Hi! Iam the new boy in this school, " he said. "This is my first day."I could not believe it! I told him....

"Don't worry, I'll take you to the school captain. He'll say whether he can take you in or you will have to go to another school". He said "No!!! I have eaten up the captain, prinicpal and and all the children. I saved the naughtiest one - You !!!"I sighed and said "Can I teach you the 2nd std. subjects". He said "Yes. I have done Std 1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10. I only need to finish Std 2." "Fine", I said. He was a slow person and took 1 hour for each subject. 6 subjects so 6 hours !

Friday...

Today all the pictures we drew in art class came to life. Miss drew an airplane and it flew around the room. Then Shinchan drew a palace and there was a magnificent palace in the classroom. Doreamon drew a cat and there was a cat too.

Then our Miss whispered something under her breath and all the pictures came back on the pages. All of us looked glum. Then she showed us how to cross the road etc.. which was fun again

Saturday…

A weekend at last !!! I stepped into the garden to relax. Suddenly a spaceship landed right in front of me. An alien with eyes as big as basketballs came out. “Iam hungry,” he said. “I have come to your planet in search of books to eat”.“Books are not food,” I said. “That’s the craziest thing I ever heard,” said the alien. “ I love a good book! Right now I am craving or a big fat science book”. He started walking…to the bookshelf. Luckily I had left my science books in school. I said “Text books are even tastier”. How about a nice Hindi book or an English literature book?”. “Ok” he said. He gobbled up both in about 63 seconds. Of course the sad robot came to my rescue. He said “ Please take me. I cannot cook but I can save you from danger”. So now he protects me.

My incredible week

Monday......

Today was the strangest day of my whole life. When I woke up, it was raining inside my room. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and the toothpaste was black instead of white. Everything was the opposite...My mom told me not to go to school ! I went with my friend to watch a movie. The theatre did not charge us money for the tickets; it was free ! But when we went inside they were showing Discovery channel instead of the movie. So I came home to watch T.V. But you won't believe it, the T.V. wasn't there. There was a b b bl black h h hole in it's place. It was the worst day in my life

Tuesday...

If you thought Monday was strange think again. This morning a robot was in my kitchen. "What are you doing here ?" I asked. "Making a cheeseburger" he answered. "A cheeseburger?" I asked. "Thats not a proper breakfast. Why don't you make an omelette?". The robot beeped. His metal head spun around, and then.... he screeched and said "I can only use my memory to make things and the only thing I know to make in my list of food items is a cheeseburger. Do not disturb me". "Hello. This is my house and you will do what I say or you can leave" I said. He left sadly.

Wednesday …

Today, on the way to school, I saw a troupe of wild monkeys! I waved. They waved back. I stuck out my tongue. They stuck out their tongues. I started to run. They started to run too. Then I found the monkey repellent spray. I picked it up and sprayed it on my body and threw it down. The monkeys did the same and they blacked out and fell unconscious. So I dropped them in the jungle and I was late for school.

Children's Day (Bal Divas)

We celebrate Children's day on Chacha Nehru's birthday. it is dedicated to children as Chahca Nehru loved children. So he called it Children's day or Bal divas. We celebrate it by playing games and winning prizes.

"Happy Bal Divas !"

His father was Motilal Nehru and he was a lawyer. Pandit Nehru's father spent lavishly on his birthdays. Pandit Nehru was impressed by his tutors. He liked to play tennis, cricket aand go horse riding. He met Mahatma Gandhi in a conference. He was born in 1889 and was brought up in Anand Bhavan. he went to Harrows school in England.

Pandit Nehru made the first speech of freedom at midnight on the 15th of August 1947.

My friendly match

I was happy that I was in the football team. I had my first match on saturday. It was 6:30 am when we reached my school. We left school at 6:59 am and reached St mary's ICSE school at 7:15 am. The first two matches were a success; the third we lost 2/1. We played against St Mary's ICSE. All the people were cheering "Campion ! Campion !" and saying " 9 10 11 12, St Mary's go to hell !". It sent shivers down my spine.

We were about to leave when the pest control people came. Ugh ! We stayed calm and quiet after the match even though some of us were fouled because this was a friendly match

If I were a dolphin...

If I were a dolphin I would always play races, true and false. We dolphins play this by taking a thing and hitting it on the black and white pads. White means truth and black means false. So if you are a dolphin, come play with me. I will be waiting for you...

You came at last so I'll show you where we get food from. We eat carp and shrimp. We do like this fisherman. He shares food with us

Little lamb

The Tumtum Tree

Once upon a time when humans loved animals , a little lamb wanted to explore the world. She ran away from her family by setting a small soft alarm for midnight. She reached an inn with a signboard "ONLY FOR ANIMALS". She had her food and slept. The next morning she found out that she almost reached her destination which was the Amazon forest where she wanted to make friends and live freely.

But on her way there she fell into a pit and got severely hurt. So she had to stay there until an ape came to help her. He pulled her out and she thanked him and went on her journey. She soon reached the Amazon forest and was exhausted. She slept for a while and dreamt she was playing with toucans, piranhas and anacondas.

I love my country India

My country India is famous for her monuments and caves. Our national animal the tiger prowls among the unknown forests and jungles. All of us live together though there are some terrorism problems. We have different religions, languages and different state capitals.

Our capital is New Delhi. We got freed from the British in 1947 as Mahatma Gandhi fought against the British. Mahatma Gandhi's monkeys tell us not to speak evil, hear evil or see evil.

Another saviour vanquished the evil East India Company in 1857. His name was Mangal Pandey.

A Seminole's story

Long ago in the land of Sweden there lived a young boy called Seminole. Seminole came from a family of magicians and was a great magician himself. Seminole loved to travel to different stars, planets, and constellations. He knew a lot about space.

One day he had to go for a meeting on Uranus because it was full of methane. Methane is very inflammable and dangerous. All the space doctors had asked Seminole to help stop the spread of methane gas in space.

Since Seminole came from a family of magicians he had a magic cloak. He quickly wrapped his magic cloak around him and muttered his magic spells “Abracadabra take me to space, Abracadabra to save the human race” and he was launched into space. He found Uranus very easily and took care of the problem in an instant.

On his way back a strong space wind blew and alas, his magic cloak flew away. Seminole was worried, “how will I get home?” he thought. Then he remembered just in time what his Daddy said to him. He said, “Son if ever you get lost in space, you must use the Big Dipper as a boat, break off the handle and use it as an oar. ” So he did just that.

Seminole searched through Pleiades and Canus Major and other constellations. After all that searching, he found the Big Dipper. He broke off the handle and used it as an oar to row back to earth. It was a tiring and long journey, but he made it home safely. He stuck back the handle of the big dipper and off it went into space where it belonged.

The next day when Seminole told his friends and dad about his adventure they were amazed and told him that he was a clever boy indeed.

Jabberwocky

Twas brillig and the slithy toves
did gyre and gimble in the wabe
all mimsy were the borogoves
and the mome raths outgrabe

Beware the jabberwock my son
the jaws that bite
the claws that catch
beware the jujub bird and shun
the frumious bandersnatch !

He took his vorpal sword in hand
long time the manxome foe he sought
so rested he by the tumtum tree
and stood awhile in thought.

I chose these few lines from my favourite poem which is also the poem I chose for the blog.
I like this poem as it is scary and I like the novel very much.

THE DAY I WAS LOST AND LATE

On my way back from school it was raining and raining and raining very heavily. Our car got stuck in the water. Our car was flowing and I coudn't get out of the car. Then some people came. They helped us come out of the water. The A/C stopped. It felt like a fight between heaven V/S hell. But alas, it was a long route home. I got lost halfway and late.
