My jaipur trip

I went to Jaipur in January this year as my dad had a conference there. So while he listened to the lectures, we decided to explore Jaipur. We went to the Amber fort and the city palace and we tried to go to the Jantar Mantar but there wasnt any time.At the Amber fort we had a great negotiation with a guide for his fee.But we had a great experience and the price was worth it.By the time we were done it was already evening so we picked up dad and left for the hotel. After a bad dinner we went to sleep. The next day after dropping off dad we went to the city palace. The city palace is huge.It has an atrium which has the four gates and it is close to the Maharaja's  palace which has multi coloured windows. We were so absorbed in looking at the colours that we forgot the Jantar mantar. So we couldn't visit. We left the next day. Here are some photos taken by me of our trip.
                                                                      Amber from afar
                                                            The Chand Pol(moon gate)
                                                        The large garden
                                                                An aerial view
The entrance to the city palace
                                                      Where the Raja discusses
                                                       The colored windows
The city palace has now been turned into a museum with lots of artifacts, curios, photographs, paintings and weapons that once belonged to the royal family.
